Microsoft Apprentice Employer of the Year
We’re very happy to announce that we have been crowned ‘Apprentice Employer of the Year 2016’! The event was held by Microsoft at a special awards ceremony on Thursday 11 August 2016 in Edinburgh.
The surprise announcement was made at the Microsoft Apprentice of the Year Awards, at which IT Apprentice Greg Jennings scooped second place. Greg, our IT Service Desk Apprentice, was one of 1000 apprentices nominated across Scotland and was recognised for being an excellent ambassador and role model for the apprenticeship programme.
The new ‘Employer’ award saw the University beat off competition from 49 other organisations to win top place.
