Print Services Project
Following a recent procurement tender for the University’s print service, the new contract has been awarded to Xerox. The University’s current fleet will be replaced over the course of this academic year. We’ll keep this page up to date with the latest news throughout the course of this project.
Latest update – installations have restarted
24 June
Xerox printer installations restarted on 18th May are expected to be complete on 2nd July.
If you are using a University-provided laptop, the Xerox printer has been installed already and set as your default printer.
Personal devices can set up the new printers using the guides on the IT website.
24 March
In light of recent guidelines, the decision has been made to suspend the installation of Xerox printers until further notice.
6 December
We’ve received the proposals from Xerox and we’ll communicate with our Unit and School contacts next week.
16 March
Printers are being replaced between Tuesday 17th March and Thursday 2nd April.
20 January
Printer replacement will likely begin week commencing 16th March, while the students are away to minimise impact. We will be in touch with our contacts from around the University shortly to coordinate the installation of the printers.
